Singlespeed World Championship 2008-IN or OUT?
Did you get a golden ticket?
We want to hear from those that got in, and those that did not! What are your thoughts in the way this went down?

Dawn has won a golden ticket! For me this is as sweet as it gets! So sweet it makes my teeth hurt. After being off my bike to have 3 children, in the short time of 4 years....and a BIG birthday this year.
Some sicko (probably my Dad) up above has put my name on a spot to go torture myself this August. And torture myself I will. I may not be as young as I was, or as fit, but I still remember how to suffer, and the joy of making others suffer around me. My favorite speed since 1999, one cog!
I can still remember the SSWC in Downieville like it was yesterday! The only difference this time is that my husband-Dan did not get in...although we are working on that. I hope to see some faces from the past there.

How long is the race...2 1/2 maybe 3 hours ? Seems to me after pumpin' out 3 kids the whole "suffering" thing should be no problem !

just frustrated that it is so small and it sold out so quickly....quite a bummer for many that want to come down and race. i'm driving down from seattle and i can't race....even though i would like to...pretty frustrating..

Great to hear you got in!!!! We may be able to get Dan a ticket. I would hate for him to be left out.
